Kizer Explains Commission’s Stance On Pacquiao vs Mayweather Jr

Unless you has been living under a rock these past few days, pretty much all hard core boxing fans from around the world are only too aware that the big money clash between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr is in jeopardy because neither camp can agree on how both fighters will be drug tested.

Whilst Mayweather and promoter Golden Boy are insisting on random Olympic style drug testing Pacquiao and his promoter Top Rank are adamant blood tests-when the fight is officially announced, 30 days prior and immediately after the fight-is more than sufficient.

Press releases have bounced back and forth from both boxers PR machine all week in a bid to justify their respective stances on the situation.

The biggest fight of the new decade was/is due to take place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada on March 13, which of course means the fight will fall under the jurisdiction of the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

James ‘Smitty’ Smith’s excellent In This Corner TV sat down with Executive Director Keith Kizer of the NSAC’s to discuss the impasse in negotiations that could jeopardize possibly the highest grossing super fight in history.
